Shirley Brosius wrote Sisterhood of Faith: 365 Life-Changing Stories About Women Who Made a Difference to encourage Christians to use their spiritual gifts. Each page offers a biographical sketch of an inspirational woman along with scripture, a message from her life and a response for the reader.

Shirley's publication credits also include Angels on Earth, Country Journal, Farm and Ranch Living, Living With Teenagers and Pennsylvania Magazine. Her Christian education articles have appeared in a variety of denominational publications, and she has written hundreds of feature stories for Harrisburg's Patriot-News. She is a member of Pennwriters and the Authors Guild.

A graduate of CLASSeminar, Shirley enjoys speaking at conferences, retreats and women's ministry events. She has memorized the book of Philippians and moves audiences through dramatic presentations of the book. She is also one of three women ministering at women's retreats as "Friends of the Heart." Shirley was named 2007 Alumnus of the Year by Evangelical Theological Seminary, Myerstown.

Shirley served ten years as a director of Christian education. She and her husband Bill live in Millersburg, Pennsylvania. They have two married sons and five grandchildren. Their only daughter died at birth.
