Sisterhood of Faith: 365 Life-Changing Stories About Women Who Made a Difference - a daily devotional book with messages drawn from the lives of women and challenges for the reader.

Shirley Brosius

Look What You Can Do--At Any Age, At Any Stage!

Shirley loves to encourage Christians to use their spiritual gifts. Whether she’s writing, speaking or just chatting across the back fence, she’ll challenge you to "Look what you can do—at any age, at any stage!"

Her book Sisterhood of Faith: 365 Life-Changing Stories About Women Who Made a Difference received the 2009 Gold Award in the category of Inspirational/Spiritual from Young Voices Foundation.

After reading Shirley's profiles of inspirational women, no woman will feel she’s not good enough, not skilled enough or not gifted enough for God to use. God delights in using women in many different--and sometimes surprising--ways.

With a gift for memorization, Shirley moves audiences as she offers dramatic presentations of the book of Philippians or the first 106 verses of the Gospel of John from memory. She and two friends lead women's retreats and speak at women's events as Friends of the Heart.

God has used Shirley herself in many ways as she has raised her family, taught school and served her church, both as a volunteer and for ten years as a director of Christian education. Now new avenues have opened as she writes and speaks to a wider audience.

Shirley loves reading, walking and taking day trips with her husband Bill. They have two sons (plus a daughter waiting in heaven). She also enjoys playing board games with five grandchildren.

The Evangelical Theological Seminary in Myerstown, Pennsylvania, named Shirley the 2007 Alumnus of the Year. Her publication credits include Angels on Earth, Country Journal and Living With Teenagers. She is a CLASSeminar graduate.
